Sorry guys, this one's squarely my fault.

The inevitable "stuff" happened, and I was out of it for the past week or so.

I'll be getting back to it this week, and I hope to have a new teaser up by week's end.

Though architecturally speaking the two look nothing alike. A river, especially when contained for a millrace, stays still, while the wind moves as it will, the windmill is generally taller, and has a smaller base, with the tower, or at least its top, turning to face the wind. (I have been in one working windmill in New Jersey - feeling the entire building starting to turn is an odd sensation, and the process is anything but silent, the mill is never quiet while the wind is blowing.)

*EDIT* As an aside - Rottingdean is a wonderful place to set an adventure, the whole town used to be involved with smuggling. There are secret tunnels dug in the chalk below the town, with the largest and oldest tunnel leading to the vicarage.

The towns covert economy was ruined under Queen Victoria, who dropped the tarrifs to the point where more reasonable to just buy imports legally than to get them through hard working smugglers.

And it has a truly beautiful windmill.

At that rate the last 0.5% will take about? ... hmmm ... 40% of the time ... - Oh! :shock:

Only the instructions for the Millrace. All else is complete.

There's two challenges I'm overcoming there. One, the Millrace was designed by Bob Cooper. He's got the ins and outs in his head, and I'm re-creating his steps using text and a picture of the complete build. Two, it's a lot of building! There's a lot to the Millrace, and I had to rebuild quite a few pieces when I misinterpreted them at one point.

In any case, it's coming along - a little over half of the pages are done, and 80% of the work. The rest should come together relatively quickly.

You'll see it (dare I say it?) soon.

I guarantee you writing instructions is a headache, I feel for the WW's crew for the fun they must have doing it, just typing them out for the few times I've done it on the forums (something like six) and only two of those being with pictures (something I plan on doing for the Ultimate Build CWC walls is adding pics), I can totally feel for you all when it comes to instructions :twisted:

Just keep up the good work. That millrace looks cool, but I can well believe it is complicated. Without good instructions, us mere mortals are doomed, so we'll wait.

I need the dunny by Xmas though, so if you haven't released I'll just go for the kitbash version.

The Outhouse in DF1 has a redesigned roof, but is a one-seater only.

The kitbash has single and double occupancy versions.
