78% is a bit generous, I'd say it's realistically more like 70% complete. As for the rapid jump, this is a project I've been working on since... well, since I first approached WorldWorks and it's sort of been pecked at now and then between projects.

This set is a bit of a departure for me and will be an experiment for WWG in terms of format. It's big, it's different, it's chock-full of props and it will (hopefully) be out before then end of January.

Sounds sweet. I'm all about props and smaller bits. I don't know about the name though..."Shellendrak"?
I've really enjoyed Matt's stuff so I'm sure it'll kick nine kinds of ass.

Ahhh. Trying to make a splash with the HorrorClix crowd. The "true" 1.5" doesn't make much sense, unless that is in reference to the prop size as well as the grid size. I'm thinking by "big set" he might have meant that the models themselves will be bigger than usual. I hope not, though. It would be annoying having it be out of scale with everything else.

Just a guess here but I would imagine that "true 1.5" may mean six inch floor tiles to solve the half inch border issue that many hero click players have mentioned (though it may not be the only change)

"True 1.5" is only a reference to the ground tiles and issues associated with that on previous sets. Although clix bases are thicker and wider the miniatures themselves are not typically out of scale with standard 25mm minis (in some cases they're a bit bigger but not by much). Therefor no, the props are all scaled to the generic average we've always followed.

While I'm all for trying new things, and I'm sure the community would kitbash sets to suit our collective needs, if it truly is changing the tiles to 6 inches (which seems most likely as a true 1.5) it's going to play havoc with the rest of the sets.

I know it's purely speculation right now. However, a multi-genre mansion sounds superb... but if it doesn't fit with Street of Mayhem, the modern part won't be as useful... and I've always hoped that Himmelveil would be designed on the same 7inch tiles so it can be mixed in with other sets... which would mean the mansion wouldn't fit with that genre either.

My hope is that, should this move to 6inch tiles be made (and I hope not) then there would be something included in the set to make it fit well with others... some sort of think textured strips to stick to foamcore to fill in the gaps around the mansion between the building and the streets or whatever tiles you are using.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see how this develops.
