Hello one and all. Here are some pictures from my game of Mechawarrior. I did not have enough buildings printed and had yet to have any bridges made, but other than that it was a blast!

The mission was for one team to escort 5 vehicles to the dropship and for the other team to capture the caravan. This is a tough game as only infantry can capture and you can imagine how well infantry stand up to a 50 ton mech.

I had managed to wipe out every last Jade Falcon unit but that does not win the game, the convoy still was able to out distance my infantry while the mechs took care of the opposition.







I lost. I was only able to capture two out of the five and three was required to win the game. I really came close as I pushed my last unit close enough to capture a vehicle, but his attack was too low and the dice roll poor.

Fighting in close quarters is very difficult and rewarding in enjoyment. My next WWG to MWAoD is either going to be Mars or a beach front.

Mr. Piper Sir! Thank you for the excellent present. Those pics rock. I really like what you've done with the Mayhem. Thanks to your posts, I'm thinking of starting up some Mech stuff again. Although I don't want to play by clicks rules, I figure that the models would be great with the normal Battletech rules, or maybe some DP9 stuff.

I love the pictures. They're almost (almost) enough to get me to try a game like MW with a smaller scale, and build out a cityscape for it.

Heh. My wife might kill you should you do that.


But if you're going to be in Leander, and you have some spare time, we should meet up. We just moved to Steiner Ranch from Cedar Park, which is adjacent and to the south of Leander, but we're still pretty close (15-20 minutes).

How funny is that! I used to live in Cedar Park! Not that long mind you and it was a very long time ago. I will be in Leander for about I week, I will keep in contact with you when I have a better idea when I will be ariving.

Looks great! It does look like the smaller buildings move around quite a bit - have you weighted them in any way?
