Well...to help you in your count of posts (not that you need it) ... How good is Frag ? I've been playing with it in my hands a few times (or looking in ebay) but never get the "need" to take it... your 2 cents ?

I like FRAG (it's by Steve Jackson games - my favorite games design company). Quick to learn and easy to play. It's a sort of no brainer game that you can have a quick game of if you've got an hour or so to kill.

The boards you get with the game are flat so you'll have to bash some house rules for the 3D aspcect of WW terrain but that's easy.

There are a couple of expansions available (can't remember what they're called tho). All in all, it's one of my groups favorite games.

Frag is also a favorite of our group. Motto is "If it moves, shoot it'. Think Unreal Tournament on a table top. Great mindless way to spend time trying to outmaneuver your opponents and blow them to bits. Luck plays a major role in what weapons you get but if you are able to get to enough weapon/ equipment stashes, you will do well. Mr. B is correct, some adjustments need to be made for 3D and we play with several other house rules to enhance play as well.

There are also user rules variants/ equipment & weapons cards available on the web. One of our favs is Frag of the Dead (Mmmmm... zombieeeessss).

I have been slowly working on a WWG Platforms/ SE Orbital Frag board (off and on for the last year). Will post pictures once it is complete.

as long as you only have a flat map board with 3d walls, you'd be fine with out any house rules, but the games an easy one for adding house rules anyway

one day i'll make a WWG board for it, one day, your's looks a fun layout

p.s. i made my own joanna dark mini to play FRAG with it's so much more fun with real minis, and anything on a 1" base would work

And given the high praise for Frag, I may have to add it to my library. Always on the lookout for fun, simple games.
