I'd like to think Scooby's creator had nothing to do with Scrappy.....or Scooby-Dum for that matter.

Scrappy Doo annoyed the crap out of me (though I still watched the episodes with him in them), but I loved ! Scooby Doo's stupid cousin was only in four episodes (seems like more than that...), but he cracked me up as a kid.

Scooby had several cousins, amongst them Scooby Dum and also a girl (Scooby Dee, I think).

Hmm, I can't seem to recall a single episode of any of the shows where Scooby had a relitive in it (other than Scrappy). I mostly remember the second series (I think it was that one) where every episode had a famous guest start like the harlem globetrotters, dick van dike, or batman and robin (always loved the epsiodes with batman). Of corse most of the Scooby-Do cartoons came out either before my birth or while I was too young to watch/remember.

There were a myriad of spin-offs as well.

I never liked the show. No blood, stupid slapstick violence instead of wholesome, good ol' American shoot 'em up and behead them type violence...... Where's the religious right when you need someone to crap all over a poorly drawn and written cartoon?

The only saving grace was Casey Casem's voice as Shaggy.

Hence the beauty of this set and also getting the miniatures done....... then you can run games how you think the Scooby Gang should be, with Fred and Daphne disappearing into closets , Scooby rolling critical hits on Scrappy, Velma being given to the last member of your group to turn up for the game.................... add some nasty critters with removable heads for the good old "And I would have gotten away with it...." scenes, and then copious amounts of blood on the set and added to the minis!!

Could also use the "Lair of the Dragon Lord" tiles for a cool Manor Under-setting.
