Congratulations Tracey !!! Man, 34 hours. If my wife had experienced a 34 hour labor for our first kid, we probably wouldn't have had the next two!!

Oh yeah, rumor has it Denny that you had something to do with it as well, so congrats heading your way too (although let's face it, she did all the work)

So sorry to hear about Chase. I hope he can fight this thing and pulls through. You know your nephew far better than we do. Whatever you can think of to "fit" his personality and raise a few funds, count me in.

I can understand an early toy being plush six sided dice, but a Cthulhu? That seems a little disturbing to me I prefer My First Winnie the Pooh as a baby gift.

Thanks for all the support and kind words gang. Both Tracey and I really appreciate it and loved reading through the thread together. To my delight what I'm coming to realize is that because we have such a wonderful community here on the forums it feels a bit like family. On the subject of a project for Chase there have been some terrific suggestions . One that peaked my interest is a skate park for Mayhem. Chase loves skateboards, Tony Hawk and that whole scene so this kind of release would be a perfect fit. I'm going to talk to the guys and see what we can get going on that front. I could see it filling a cool little gap in the city of Mayhem as well and offering an interesting little landscape for all your carnage

I've been MIA for the past week and just now saw the announcement. Congratulations just doesn't fit the bill.... As a father of 4, it's truly a miraculous experience! Enjoy every minute of it!

Congratulations Denny, to both of you. We've done this same thing three times now, and the arrival of a baby is truly an indescribable, terrifying, exciting, and life-changing event. There's is nothing like becoming a Dad for the first time. Our first (now coming up on five) also arrived after an incredibly long labour. The other two each had their own scarey moments, too. In spite of the anxiety and rapid-aging I went through during their arrival, they're all thriving and amazing little creatures.

Even in the midst of those aggravating moments when you fully understand why some animals eat their young (like discovering my super-detailed First Light build complete with sliding doors, pipes, neato touches, and loads of cool extras got totally destroyed by my 2 year old), you're going to love this whole thing.

I just sighed (well...after uttering a few choice words), and started my plans to build another one.

I missed the initial announcement as i have ben working on a City of Mayhm board for an upcoming Convention.

And I am very proud to say both my children have been helping with the design cutting and building.

You have a lot to look forward too.

Remember to always share your joys with your children, they may not always like the same things as much, but they will remember the time spent together.
