I am very interested in trying to make some of these. As I have never done any of this before, I am looking for some advice. What pack should I start with, what do I need to buy, and any other peices of advice for a novice?

I don't have a very good printer, is it worth while to go to Kinkos here in the states?

I work at FedEx Kinko's, thus I get all my printing done for free. (Full-size Masterboards printed out in one piece on our 52'' oversize color laser printer... mmmmmm...) Anyways, as a representative of FedEx Kinko's, I strongly suggest you just buy a nice printer and lots of refillable ink. At .89 cents a color copy, printing at FedEx Kinko's will quickly become cost prohibitive. Refillable ink is the way to go, my friend.

As for starting sets, all of them are fine to start with. Some of the newer sets have some pretty complicated models but all of them have easy models to start with. As a long-time user of WorldWorks Games' products, I of course started with the Village, Dungeon, and Cave sets.

Alas, the Dungeon and Cave sets are no longer for sale. Perhaps starting with VillageWorks set then? Another thing to consider is this: Where is your next D&D adventure going to be? That might help narrow it down.

Does anyone know how many pages the villageworks is? Also whats a good printer for refillable ink?
