Woww... I'm waiting also mine from the last buy..but I have nearly forgoten ebay for that...no way to find set like yours... It's dificult to find auctions of say 5 figures... so I go to a shop where I could buy what I need ... Some ebay-shop you bought it or where auctions ?

Very cool collection, and a fun photo shoot. I had a similar box (though not quite as large) of mainly Star Wars Minis recently. Lots of duplicates, which is very good if your into mass battles or the role-playing side. I purchased a bunch of bugbears, goblins, hobgoblins, etc for the role-playing. The rare ones' I won't pay the price most people want. Can't believe people would pay that much for plastic crappy painted mini's. I got 100 goblins for $20 off ebay. Now that's a great deal.

What did you pay for the figures Dmmagic? I also buy and collet the D&D figures but rarly go looking on ebay for them, rather I just pick up a case at Icon ().
At $107 per case they workout to be around $1.12 per figure. Generally speaking I get 2/3 of the total rares, at least two or three of each uncommon (average is four) and a slew of each common.
Gives me plenty to run games with and you can always sell of the rares to bring the price down some more (though I only sell rares if I get duplicates). And as you said earlier I like the paint jobs.

On a related side note my cusin got a case of the D&D minis then sold all the rares he got at gamestores, ebay, or to other games to get back half the price he paid in the first place. This is the same tatic I used when I played MtG so I could afford my addiction (most rares sucked ass anyway).

$151.40 for what you see in the pictures (that includes shipping and handling). Many of the miniatures where .20 or .30 cents. The bulk of the price comes from 3 stirges for $25, the $15 shipping and handling charge, and several rares that I purchased for between $5-$10.

I'm not certain purchasing a case would enable me to get the exact miniatures I wanted. Not to mention, I like large groups of the same figure. When you have 6 or 8 of the same miniatures, the bad guys look uniform and it's easier to see who you're fighting.

Just my style of play, I suppose.

Maybe we could do something of an interchange of miniatures...for sure we have a few miniatures that we want get rid of them and can get some from anothers... I know that they are pages that do that...but I prefer to step into the known people... !!

Waiting for the rumour to be true (I've send the email) It's a good one because it wear all (hero/horroclix - D&d and SW) so I will not have to hunt in various places as now (all the D&D ans SW related I bought to coolstuffinc... they have reasonable prices but the best is that the calcul of the shipping cost to spain is allways less in my favour...hope none of the staff is reading that )

I'm waiting the next one then quickly (Unhallowed)... it seems that will do a lot for the Horror games (with the werewolfes...ghost and others)... Waiting to see all the pictures before make my statemente 100% true...

Edit: well ! your statement as made me review the previews...and ... well a few of them can be usefull...hope more generic zombies/ghosts/werewolfes... or something like that...so not as good as I remember...

I do like the look of the Werewolf Lord but I suspect he'll be a rare, and so out of my league.
