are just now coming out with a number of very interesting sets. There are several figures in the that look nice. There are four adventures in this that look perfect as the player characters in Zombie Manor. And there are a few in that also fit the manor well.

Nothing to do with the manor really, but I'm especially fond of the .

And the sets are reasonably priced ($26 for 8-12 miniatures), and available at a big discount (40% off) under certain circumstances (requires an Old Glory "Discount" membership, which will cost $50).

I thought I should clear up my comment about the discount I mentioned above. At $26 a set they are already attractively priced, but can you imagine getting that same set for a mere $15.60? YIKERS!

If you've been drinking though, I suggest you continue your libations and come back to this thread a little later, because it may get confusing if you are impaired in any way.

Discount Program: A company called Old Glory wanted to improve bulk sales, so they invented a program called The Old Glory Army. It was mentioned out on The Miniatures Page some time back. For a $50 fee, you get 1-year of discounts on their line of minis. They make a LOT of minis. At 40% you only need to buy $125 worth to break even. Do the math, buy $125 + $50 membership and get the minis for $75, so you are still out of pocket $125 - thus even. From there on, you are way ahead.

That's the easy part. The cunfusion is that several different sites are partners with these minis guys, and BOTH have Old Glory in their title. Here they are:


These guys have a number of lines of minis you may be interested in using with WWG terrain. Check the 25mm link, and then under Modern there are Road Kill minis, and under Chaos there is the Chaos in Cairo line. They also carry Superfigs and Savage Worlds minis.


These guys have a bunch of individual product lines under their Old Glory 25 link. Not sure if there are any crossover ranges between these two. But there are other minis here. Not sure if ALL products qualify for the discount, but depending on your interests, this may be worth checking out.

Follow either of those links and you will see mention of the discount program. I do NOT think that a membership is limited only to where you buy it, so you "should" be able to buy a membership on either site, and then use your membership number at either. That's the theory anyway.

Slightly more confusing is that neither of these sites carry Blue Moon minis. However, on the Blue Moon site itself they mention THEY will accept the Old Glory Army membership number (I think it's because they are using Old Glory as casters).

I do NOT have a membership. One of my interests is WWII in 15mm and I tend to buy a bunch of Command Decision figs (no relation to the game of the same name) which are already heavily discounted. This "army discount" deal has me very interested though, because there are some vehicles and troops CD do not make. I've toyed with the idea of getting the army program discount to buy extra minis, but the break even is right around what I might buy in a year.

Now, with Blue Moon and those LOVELY figs (I agree CCotD, the werewolves are ideal for a bunch of games, including Occult Wars) I think the army discount just migh pay for itself and then some getting some of those sets.

Anyway, that's the story on the discount. Hope it all made sense.
