Shadowcore module shots

So, even though I just waxed poetic about set pieces, for Shadowcore I had previously decided to create more on-the-fly configurable modules, due to what I want to use them for and the set itself. It should be noted that despite its apparent poor reception, this set is REALLY COOL. If you have anything remotely alienish or Cthuluish, this set really helps make it. I used this set in a fantasy game as the Spiders' Spike (lair) in our Evernight game. I'm also going to use the modules as an alien ship in an "explore the alien ship" mini-campaign I'm working on.

Ooooh - nice.

Those really look like X-com alien ship interiors to me. Now wasn't TheAuldGrump running a min-campaign based around the X-com theme?
(And going back even further, does anyone remember the old UFO TV series that X-com was based on? Featuring Will Straker of SHADO! Now that's showing my age.)

They're standard WWG 7" squares.

Looks really great as a modular set. And I can see all kinds of possibilities for it. From an Advanced Space Crusade type game, to a Doom/Descent type game, to many different iterations of RPG...
