With the August release of Mechwarrior Solaris VII now is the time to contact WizKids and see how much a license would be to produce Solaris VII arena mats!

Your proving that you can do it with the space mats and you already have all the textures you could use.

If they let GF9 make god awfully expensive "terrain", not to mention ugly, heck the mechs that come with it is the only reason to purchase them, then I really think that WWG should also!

You raise a good point. Some of the GF9 terrain looks amazing, but I wasn't very impressed with the new pirates one. WWG could produce stunning mats and I'm sure they wouldn't cost thousands of dollars like I believe the GF9 ones do.

Could be both a good money earner for WWG, but also great advertising while it does the convention circuit.

I strongly suggest they use cardstock terrain. I would have loved to add WWG name to the "I strongly encourage WizKids to contact some of these Card Stock terrain companies (one in particular) for official stuff" but I was not sure if they allow it.

Many people would love to see the terrain Denny.

Well, now that Palladium finally has the Robotech RPG license again (took only a year and a half negotiations, among other things), I'm looking forward to any sci-fi releases for any mecha terrain. I'm gonna be picking up Red Sector and Uncharted Space in the next month or so. It would be nice if someone could do the Robotech mecha as paper models, though I imagine the license for such a thing might be prohibitive.

Well you can get quite a number of generic Mecha from the Red Sector set, plus if you look around the web you can even find some free Front Mission Mechs for download.
