I specialized in building only 1/35 scale Russian WWII armor for about four years at one time, never thought of breaking into the tank farm "spares closet". Those Tamiya Hulls would be perfect for vehicles. Make sure you can't recognize the T-34 road wheels (you don't want to be a Spielberg, trying to fool us with a jive ass "Tiger" that was obviously a T-34 hull/chassis!) Za Stalina (we need cyrillic font here)

Hmmm. We moved into our new house last weekend. My wife has such a long list of "jobs" that need doing that I think it might be 2008 before I got back to modelling.

I got my VW and CWU builds out of storage yesterday and either time and/or climate have not been kind to them. It seems hard to start another build knowing what it's eventual fate might be. This storage issue is a real bummer

I'm putting the finishing touches on 3 sets for my upcoming Mutants and Masterminds adventure I'm doing for a one-night adventure with my gaming buds:

Underground Subway with 4-car train. This will be used for a kidnapping scenario where the heroes have to rescue the Mayor of Freedom City and his family from the evil clutches of Doc Octaku.

Suspension bridge utilizing SOM road tiles. The heroes will have to take on Toy Boy and his toybots that are destroying the bridge and endangering innnocent bystanders.

City street with alley. Here the heroes will take on Hell's Belle's, a sextet of sexy demon chicks on bikes.

Been great fun putting these together!

Done, mostly, except for a bit of gear, tow cables and ropes.



Eventually this will be part of a small Eastern Front diorama with a knocked out Sd 222 scout car.

I finished my AT-43 Operation Damocles board using P-COM walls today, and did a few 'bashes for some battle-damaged P-COM ground tiles for my main AT-43 board.

Today I got a lot done. I submitted my kitbash, and I've started and finished all the props for Pubbs&Inns. Now I'm doing the ones for Castles&Keeps.

Next time I get a couple days off I'm going to sit down and learn Sketchup.

I've done the DungeonlinX for my son - he gets the most use out of it, but the chances are high it will get used for D&D/SW adventures.

Now working on some VillageWorks buildings using Bruenor's great instructions.

I've got a question before I proceed with the ships final hulls and upper decks. Which would you prefer for a cargo vessel 1: a tramp steamer 1890s-1940s 2: a retro 50s-80s coastal bulk cargo 3: a modern bulk cargo ship (larger) ? I'm just wondering which you feel is more useful for the RPGs you play.
