Okay, couldnt get close to a computer last night so brought the glue with me this morning. The Uhu liquid "Glue Pen" stock number 99613 is what I find around here. This is not the fine-point marker style that Denny shows in his how-to pics, but a wider, mesh applicator. The content volume is 1.69 fl. oz., or 50ml. Again, aside from a very limited amount of warping, which I have found ways of avoiding, this has so far given the best results. I will try that Zipdry thing as soon as I can find one and see how it works for me.

I've got one of those. They are less sticky than the uhu office pens (but still plenty sticky for gluing cardstock). I agree that the larger uhu causes more warping, but I find that the mesh applicator gives better glue flow than the simple hole in the office pens.

If you don't mind a trip to Beavercreek, both the Office Depot and the OfficeMax on Fairfield road (accross the street from the Fairfield Commons mall) have the UHU Office Pens in stock. I just picked up a couple last night--I'm putting together my first masterboard and building a chunky dungeon for my clix figures.

What *I've* had trouble finding is the black pre-cut velcro squares. Every store I've been to so far is sold out! I'm too picky to use white ones or cut them from a roll (which is narrower than the squares would be), so I guess I'll just keep looking around . . . .

Thanks for the heads-up. I'll be out that way this weekend. My wife used to work at Joannes Fabrics about 8 years ago, and she used to have contacts that could help her get the black velcro. Had you looked in the back of that store where the furniture covering stuff is at? Think they used to have black and white in rolls. So far, I havent gotten to a pro master board yet, just using the Geohex/Monday Night Productions gaming sheet with regular master boards where my town is located. Some of the games are so small they dont need any area bigger than the master board, such as Blood and Swash/Thunder and Plunder, or GASLIGHT. Of course, that castle will take pretty much the whole table, so will have to come up with something by then. Thanks again.

I've had great success with Uhu's purple gluestick and a hotglue gun for the occasional high-stress area (i.e., mounting the hull on The Maiden.) The one drawback to the gluestick is it's size. At 1" wide it's impossible to use it in tight areas.
