OK, some pictures of my HeroClix board:













I hope to build some 1.5" tiles and attach some props, like streetlamps and newspaper machines, etc. I also plan to do the same with the basic Objects for the game, motorcycles and computers, etc. But right now this is good enough to play some games on, the rest can come along later.

Very nice and simple. Offers options for LOS, etc.

ONe suggestion and you probably are working on them, since Heroclix is .. well superheroes, you'll need lots of stuff to throw around like dumpsters, trashcans phone booths, etc.

One of the things I meant to mention in the first post was the buildings... I made them 6" square modeules instead of 7" by copying the images and resizing them in Word. That means no wierd roof templates to use, they just fit right onto to table.

That is a nice board. How long did it take to build all that?

Nice clean layout. Plenty of open space for action, I dig it.

All told, it took me about five hours, most of that was resizing buildings and tiles, and the gas station. Glueing the tiles down to the board took about 45 minutes, each building takes about the same.

Having played on this board now, and having used all of the dirt/grass areas as Hindering Terrain, I am feeling the need to create some moveable Hindering Terrain. It won't be 3D because characters need to stand on it, but cutting some sections of the grass from Shellendrak would make good hedges for characters to move through.

Very nice. I'm printing all my Mayhem without a grid since I don't technically play HeroClix (though I do own some). Of course, anyone I play it with I will be teaching it to and we'll just use measuring tapes and go 1 move=1".
