My buddy Brant and I played a 400-point HeroClix game this afternoon, his Batman Enemies against my mixed bag of Marvel villains. Not sure of everyone who he had, but I was fielding Wizard, Hobgoblin, Killer Shrike, Crimson Dynamo, Hydro-Man, and Arkon. There was no theme for me except "Bad Guys That Add Up To 400 Points" but I must have done something right because I was again victorious, and this time without Cosmic Cheese.

Sometimes I think I am taking this game too seriously, somehow I (being the original friendly-just-here-to-have-fun wargamer) am being very competitive and studying exactly what each of my guys can do in a given round. I haven't quite figured out the dynamic yet, but I am pretty close to cracking this egg.

This was the second game that i played on this layout, and while it works very well, we rearranged the scenery a little after the game to see what variations we could come up with. I think I am going to build some alternative scenic items (not necessarily buildings) just to mix it up a little, and of coures we will be having more Hindering terrain and some cars in the near future.
