I posted up how I am interested in doing work for the Standees line.

hit me up if you all need illustration work.

I have to recommend .

This set contains a stack of handy standees, including:
- Guard and guard captain
- dwarf lord, dwarf fighter and civilian dwarf
- club wielding orc/barbarian (usable for either)
- elven archer
- fey, fey guard, fey king and queen
- spider swarms, giant spiders (two sizes), the Ettercap
- three peasants (man, woman, girl)
- and a donkey.

Not to mention the other great terrain that comes with this module, and the module itself

I find myself thinking more about scope of releases and style than any specific content of the standee sets..

Most of what I see in paper minis is;
-general theme sets (fantasy heroes! classic monster X!)
-setting themed sets (have a smattering of genre mash!)
-adventure themed sets (here is your named NPC!)
-armies

I'd almost want to see options-heavy sets with a tight focus, like one class or race for a whole set. That could wipe out some feelings of neglect for a player who wants a unique character standee. It seems demanding and maybe repetitive to me, though.

-OR-

Campaign-based, super-general sets in multiple releases. Bigger, more general minis sets that spur the purchaser to maybe use a fun standee they might have turned down in a focused set.

I could always find room for a donkey in a fantasy encounter map, but will I go looking for one? Doubtful.

Currently I like the adventure themed sets best - they scream out 'ready to play!'
