I'm talking about glueing transparencies to a textured surface for the maiden. So far I've only done the ones for the deck, which are sandwich folded between layers, so I'm not worried about them. But the ratlines are glued right to the carstock, not folded. And I don't have a glue that bonds those 2 materails well.

I would prefer to use a different adhesive if possible.

In all of my models that I've made, I've used scotch tape. One reason is that most of the model pieces that have a transparency are sandwich folds so the tape doesn't show.
