I cannot find any foamcore in Townsville, and don't fancy carting it home if I did (no mechanized transport). There is a store selling thin rubbery foam, which is rather stiff when used in small sizes, will it do as well? What other materials do people use?

I found some sheet at the local rubber store, it feels a bit softer than what I imagined, but thought I'd try it.
