Hey folks,

Our image gallery hosted kindly by DKD all these years has recently fallen into some trouble with hackers. I am doing my best to follow up with DKD to find out exactly what happened and what can be saved.

This is a bit of a "long time coming" scenario but since we recently moved to our very own server it probably makes the most sense to host the gallery on the official WWG site. That way we can keep a closer eye on any nefarious hacker activity and make sure this doesn't happen again.

Long story short, we are working to implement a new gallery. More information coming shortly...

If there is anything I can do to help, please let me know. I have already give you access to the ftp site and the database. I did not get a reply back as to whether there have been any problems.

PM me with the new gallery url and I can help you set it up if you like.

I just sent you an email back - I'm glad you sent a followup, because it looks like my spam folder ate the first one. I got in with the settings you gave me, and I'll be working on the gallery ASAP (as time permits, obviously). I'm hoping to get everything migrated over the weekend (cross your fingers).

it looks like we are communicating via email so we can stop our conversation here.

Just a note: I have found the offending user that was messing with the gallery and have smashed him like a bug. We still need to move the gallery as you now have your own server, but I love squashing bugs.

I've been on since 11/22 and I have yet to be able to see the pics in the gallery. I run with Win XP and Firefox.
