For those Fantasy SW players, Sean Patrick Fannon of Talisman has finally the full suite of Shaintar Immortal Legends material, after nearly two decades of development!

The manual ($24.95), Players guide ($14.95 contains the 1st four chapters of the full manual), atlas ($6.95), etc. are available for download at the , along with a couple of free adventures and a free character pack. (RPGnow will also be selling it from 30 Nov, but the creators will get more of your $ if you buy direct from them.)

- We're a bit busy with an Arcraetia campaign to look at Shaintar right now, but I'd be very interested to know what others think now the whole thing has been released.

I already have the players guide dose the full manule give enough new material to make it a must have?

I have the old Players Guide, but the full book includes a full plot point campaign, bestiary and an adventure generator......... in other worlds, everything a GM will need!!!

The Atlas looks like a nice purchase as well.

If you are only going to be a player, the Players Guide should be enough, but I think the full book is essential for proper GMing of the world.

Shinobi do you still have the download link for the old players guide? If so re download it as it has been updated to the current (as a second version, make sure you keep the first version safe for collection).

I have all three the Players Guide, the main book and the Atlas. The later two will be printed off tomorrow at work. Damn impressive books.

This is the setting the Savage Worlds has needed for a long time - good old D&D feel with out the crap that is tied into it.

Printing the Shaintar book out took bloody ages (my printer could only handle 5 pages at a time).... ....... but the end result is sooooo sweet!!! All bound up and about half read so far. A superb setting, with some very nice adventure creation ideas, and it is one of the best looking books around...... however a printer-friendly version would have been nice though!

Highly recommended............ now I just need to go get some more ink so that I can print out the Atlas and the character cards

I used the work print room (work at HP Australia) for a copy of the Altas and the Main guide + the players guide. At one point they were waiting for yellow cartage to get rushed across from another office as my stuff had drain it dry.

Looks fantastic - wish i had a Lulu option for the full hardcover like I did with Reign.


Now I'm going to hit them with Solomon Kane pdf (not the print friendly version ).

Found that double sided glossy-paper. Its called "Presentation Paper" here in the US. I got some at Office Depot for $13 for 50 sheets. Lowest was $30 for 150 sheets. Wanted to try it before commiting, though. Also, posted another thread asking opinions about this way too late at night as I forgot about this thread. Was looking for some dungeon-crawls for SW, but this sounds like it has the toolkit needed to make that and more.

I've been wanting to find some game information for fantasy/modern/future type game settings for use with SW, so I'm going to check this out.
