I have some experience with it as far as signage goes, but not with model building. If I remember right, I think a few of the folks here have used it on theirs, though.

Yeah, Coroplast. I guess I should have looked closer since theres a big label marked Coroplast. I have quite alot of it so any suggestions would be great! I am thinking since I have so much I should do my entire new Mayhem build using this stuff, and maybe even do another Chunky Dungeons with Coroplast backed peices? Do you think it would make an okay foarmcore replacement? I could imagine edging to be a little challenge!

Any help would be great! Expecially pictures of Coroplast builds!

I built a guinea pig encloser with it. Nice two level affair. The nice thing about it is that if you cut with the "grain" it will fold nicely and still be plenty strong. A drawback that I see would be if you need a fold somewhere else. I think it will be more work than foamcore, but not nearly as prone to warping. Good luck.

Yeah, I was deffinatelly thinking the same thing. And yeah, you can deffinately melt this stuff! I was worried about using more industrial methods of cutting it would melt it at the edges, but I used a fine toothed blade, and it works fine.

You could also just paint it with cloth grade spray paint (don't remember the name atm). I had to get some to paint my daughter's ballet slipers for a recital a couple years ago and kept the can for my own use later. It dosn't stiffen the cloth when it dries so you could spray it right over the velcro and it will should work (but I haven't tried it on velcro yet).

A friend gave me a couple of sheets of the stuff years ago. I ended up making my son and the neighbourhood boys shields and armour out of the stuff.

I don't see why you can not use it for the tiles. I would personally cut them into 6'x4' sheets and use label paper to base it.

Although it would take some work I don't see why you can not use it for buildings. Use label paper to adhere it on. May take a bit of pre thought but your a clever guy. I've used PVC board and made boxes using six pieces with slots to fit them together. I had to use Bison Adhesive Adhesive glue but you could use Hot Glue I'd imagine. Then I used label paper and carefully placed them on. I can place an entire stack of books on it and it does not cave-in.

I was just looking at boxes made out of this stuff. If you have miniatures you could make some really nice custom miniature cases! I'd be willing to make you a template if you give me dimensions and promise to take pictures of the process.

you could make the inserts out of the coroplast or purchase foam inserts.
