End of the day Home printing is so much cheaper. Once you find your suppliers - and I use too use online suppliers with great results (Most of my stuff comes from work now) you will see that it is very cheap hobby.

Also factor in time - yours into the equations.


What printer are you using and can you get "no name" brands for refills or look at hooking up a continuous feed system?

The moment you go to the shops to get it printed you loose cash and the magic that makes it (cardstocking) what it is.

I'm currently using a Lexmark X3350 scanner/printer, which I got for free when I bought a camera, so, it's not the best there is, but, it works.

The continous feed interests me, as my dad was employed in the printing industry, and when he moved out he left several jugs of ink and toner cartridges for an epson laserjet printer(not sure what model) in boxes in the basement, so, I'll look into that. I just need something cheaper than $30 for 20 pages of material, especially as I'm trying to make a large supply of generic props/tiles with velcro for quick dungeon builds, so, I'm gonna need to make alot of models in bulk. Paper's no issue, I'm only onto my second package of cardstock since I started building, but, then again, I buy those in bulk.
