Here are deployment shots of the Royalist 631st Frigate Brigade assigned to Planetary Defense.





They are eagerly awaiting reinforcements from the 450th Carrier Detachment that was due in the region by this galactic quarter.

Information trickling down from the brass suggest that their arrival is due posthaste.

Hmm. Might want to make them a "squadron" or "flotilla" instead of a "brigade". The first two terms are naval warfare teminology and the last is from land warfare.

Here's a brief primer on naval terms:

Squadron: 3-8 major ships; a sub-unit of a fleet. Also used for a unit of around 12-16 fighters.

Division: 2-4 ships; a sub-unit of a squadron

Flotilla: typically a large collection of similar or identical small vessels

Task Force: a temporary collection of ships, usually a couple of squadrons worth, tasked with a specific operation

Fleet: either all ships in a given power's inventory or a major division there-of, with several squadrons and capable of being broken into several task forces.

These ships do look pretty darn sweet. I can't wait to see what other models look like.
I do ahve a question though. The support peices on the stands...how sturdy are they? Is tht somewhere where we might want to reinforce with foamcore?
