Do you set them all up at first, or do you slowly reveal the rooms as the players explore the house?

I'm thinking something like this would make for an awesome version of stuff like Betrayal at the House on the Hill.

GAWD, I will be making cover pieces, with a thumb tack glued to the middle for extra grabiness, so that players can't see whats in each room. While the house is being built for display, when gaming it will be laid side by side.

Two weeks? TWO WEEKS??? <sigh> My own massive Shellendrak build took me six months...

That really looks awesome, and I love the Resident Evil homage. I was at one time thinking of doing the Gamecube version of the Spencer Mansion but changed my design when I realized it would have taken up half my living room. I think the design I eventually went with ended up being about 6 square inches smaller

The foamcore was a great idea - I wish I had decided to go with foamboard backing when I did mine, since it was such a sprawling build it really could have used the reinforcement for moving it around. And making it stack like that for storage is just awesome.

By the way, you'll appreciate my current project, which is the Ashford House from RE Code Veronica. I've got the first floor done and am now doing the upper levels and tower. This one I am doing as a foamboard build and have been using a mix of photoshopped WWG stuff and pictures I copied from the internet. I'll post pics when it's done.
