Just shooting off some random ideas here...

For some more randomness, you could also give a slight accordeon fold to the middle baffle (any one really, but the middle one is least visible). That way, the die will roll off the baffle at a slight angle, rather than risking that it may always slide flat-side down. Especially important for d4's, which may not do much rolling on the baffles.

Likewise, you could also add some additional "randomizers" on the top of the bottom baffle, where the die will land when it falls off the middle baffle. I'd recommend some vertical strips of cardboard, running down the "landing area" of the bottom baffle.

Hmm... you may even be able to rig up a catapult from SiegeWorks to lob dice into a little castle courtyard. Now that would be cool!

One website for Advanced Squad Leader swears by these after players have knocked over their carefully stacked counters. That is one board game that can have more than 10 counters in a stack if you keep your squads, leaders, support weapons together with concealment on upper floors with incoming artillery - gads. Dice rolling across the game board can be devastating. I'll have to work up a CWU tower or 2 for this. Hmmm. Maybe this would be a goody for those 'single item' sales Denny has thought about.

I would buy for a buck or two! There could be a priate dice tower, castle dice tower, skull dice tower, well, any dice tower pattern could be cool.

Anyway, I was thinking. I know some folks like to do matboard for their modeling structures even though it takes more time to build. While I am going the regular route, I am tempted to make one of these towers with the matboard or foamcore support. I think it would be worth it.

I just figured out how I am going to do the dice tower court area. I will just use the front crenelations for the complex roof in CWU upside down and wrap it around a base. Now to find a square tower. I wonder if the hex towers in CWU will do as well?

LOL, I was looking at the Skull tower and laughed at someone trying to create a dice tower out it. Imagine Attack rolls shooting out of one eye, Damage rolls from the other, and the dreaded fumble roll results out of the mouth.

I have been thinking about how we can share our mods, but there is no way we can email them to each other without compromising the WWG agreement. The only way to do it legally would be if Denny accepted submissions and published them maybe twice a year as ModWorks. We could submit mods to Denny and if he approved them he would combine them into a set like ModWorks Set #1, etc(Dice Towers galore!). Of course he would have to test them to ensure they meet WWG standards. And if someone used a different texture, he would have to decide how the work reflects on WWG. Perhaps, he could charge $5 and a freebie to folks who got their submissions published and/or a free giveaway to anyone who purchased a regular set.

He would have to set up guidelines, such as, only submissions that enhance or add to an established set published by WWG; new textures (if allowed) are original or are public domain; and must include directions for building, etc.

Just a thought.
