Howdy I am building a huge catacomb project for a con (10 master board big) using chunky dungeon. Here is my question, has anyone had luck using stickum or something to attach something non permanent.

Here is what I am trying to do. I want to attach coffin lids to the walls to make in-wall graves. While I can glue them, this would kind of ruin the walls for any other use later.

My printer is a laser, so I shouldn't have ink rubbing problems some inkjets have. cough....HP.....cough

It will likely work, but be forewarned that it will also, likely, leave an oil stain, when you peel it off. I've used similar products to attach posters to walls, and it worked, but when I removed them, both the posters, and the paint on the walls, had a mark, where some chemical from the 'glue' material, was leeched into the wall, and the paper. Cheers!

I don't know if it is still made - but for a while there was a double sided Post-It tape, which might fit your bill.

Hm. Interesting idea.

What about good old rubber cement? If you've sealed the prints with a coat of matte spray (like Krylon), you shouldn't have any ink lifting problems. Rubber cement is meant to be easily removed from paper.

Note, though, that I haven't tried this, so I have no idea if it will lift sealer and ink, or if it will work like a charm. Since I don't have a laser printer, I can't test that, but you bet I'm gonna test out a couple of sealed pieces from my inkjet...

Sorry for the double-post, but I tried out some rubber cement for a non-permanent bond.

Worked like a charm. It gave a decent enough bond to keep things from being knocked around and apart, but came apart pretty easily with a little gentle pulling. I tested one piece that was sealed with Krylon Matte and one that wasn't. Neither piece lifted any ink, and removing the remaining glue was as simple as rubbing my thumb over it a couple of times.

I will have to remember this as well, since I plan on doing a big freaking game at a convention here in Seattle this August.

If you've used a Laserjet, there is hardly any chance of the ink lifting. It will hold paper no problem.
