Interior Works - Pubs & Inns - "Tables and Chairs"

I don't get how to fold up the small tables. It looked really straight forward; scored, cut, glued.... and they just flop around like a wet noodle. The legs don't stay under the table but rather they just slide out and the table looks like an ogre sat on it =P

Please advise!

Yeah, those tables and chairs are easy and fast to build. But at the cost of some stability.

There are 2 options to correct the problem.

Either print additional legs for the other 2 sides, or glue a verticle cardstock strip down the middle to connect the legs to each other.

Let me pull some of mine out and I'll post a pic.

I was wondering if I was gonna have to do just that but thought I'd make sure I was actually doing it properly first.

Its not totally necessarily, but if you don't you end up having to constantly refold the legs so they're straight. In the long run this is just better.

I like using a scrap piece that has a wood texture on it for the supports. But just coloring the scrap brown with a marker will work too.

Your old furniture post was where I got the method to do the props this way.
