Although it would take some licensing with Hasbro to release anything official (its easy enough to skirt around that sort of thing if done carefully), I think some guy named Mandigo Rex is on his way to building paper/cardstock Ark I and Nemesis ships from the 80s Transformers series.

Note that while the Ark looks similar to the forward section of the Autobot shuttle it is in fact considerably larger than the shuttle in its entirety.

The central area is the bridge and that reddish smudge on the bridge is Optimus Prime in the captain's chair and he's... what, 40 feet tall? Maybe 25 sitting down? Gives you an idea....

I had remembered the look of the ship, but not the scale of it. Its going to be quite a build considering he actually did a 3d version of the teletraan console.

You darn kids and your 80's fixations. Of course, look at me in the 70's....
