Much as I love cats (I have two) I know that in all honesty a plain old cardboard box is every bit as amusing to them as an expensive toy tank.... and much easier to replace when it's inevitably destroyed!

The sad thing is that they'll probably outsell all WWG models combined.

I have a two cats. Edward Scissor Hands, and Fluffy. Fluffy has no fur.

Edward was entirely raised by me so he'll use the liter box for up to 3 months.

Oh oh oh! I know, you could make a card stock liter box that doesn't smell!

Cats will love that.


Denny, have you considered feline adventure sets? Fluffy has no fur and he could relly use some armour.

The survivor, a black cat named Pilum, he will find a high place to watch the engagement and look at you afterwards like he could have taken the enemy every time and in less turns.

Actually I have had cats all my life in my life and in my gaming.
The ethusiasm for war toys varies with the person, pardon me, the cat.
I have had a couple of cats that I did not dare leave my toy soldiers out for their sake.
One orange marmalade, Tommy, felt it was his duty to the home to attack and destroy every toy soldier and military vehicle he could catch; results - tanks' main guns gnawed off, jeeps flipped thru the air until they were only pieces, toy soldiers with ripped off guns and chewed off heads, etc.

Sometimes you can just have fun with them and some inexpensive plastic toy soldiers.
One tortoise-shell named Picasso, who if you shot toy soldiers with a Zebra pellet or disc gun, he would swat that soldier around until you shot the vicinity of another one; tried vehicles once, but I got the idea that he hurt his paw once when he took a swat at a 2&1/2 ton Dodge truck toy; yes, the truck flew, but he never took on vehicles after that other than to simply budge them out of his way.

A half-breed Siamese we had, Gladius, the deceased litter-mate of Pilum, would have loved these new cat toys.

Heh, those are pretty cute, and Auld Grump's comment about them being for the amusement of the person who belongs to the cat, made me chuckle, in a knowing kind of way.

The only cat toys I still buy for my two cats are little fuzzy tinsel balls, which they have a stash hidden somewhere in the house that I have not been able to locate yet. And the ferret fur or feather hanging from a piece of string.

For all other toys, as you say, I recycle cardboard boxes, plastic or paper bags, seal from milk carton, pretty much anything. I let them play with it, then recycle it again, heh.

Denny - If you think there is more money in this, you could always launch a sister website... it'd be easy to get a domain name better than suck.uk.com and it wouldn't need the regular attention and updates that terrain demands...

Not painted a figure with a cat yet...but regularly try gluing cardstock...Will NOT let her interfere at the cutting/scoring phase
SHe also insists on playing WoW with me...she does "jump" real well (spacebar)

My new set has a tribute to all the cats and animals in my life.

Good thing about my cat, all I have to do is give him a paper bag or a cardboard box and he's more than happy, don't need to make him one of those toys! But they do look funny!
