My wife and I got mine too.

TWO WEEK WARNING -

If we're going to meet up and say hello, we need to plan some sort of spot or picture post so if I see you/you see me, we can actually recognize each other.

Here's a definite:

- On Friday around noon, I'm going to be at the Fantasy Flight Games booth. Maybe playing the BSG demo or something else. I'll be the dude in the blue and black Fox Racing shirt with my LAST NAME and the number 5 on the back (it's my old MX team shirt from 2003 when I rode for the Midwest division for Fox Racing). My last name is in my avatar. lolz I think my wife and I will definitely be at the Freezepop concert.

- On Saturday, I'll probably be over in the video game area. I'll wear ... something distinctive. Probably my white collared polo shirt with the HOBY logo on the upper left. I'll figure out somewhat to advertise who I am - I'll give you more info on the 26th. I'll possibly also be up on the fourth floor, getting Jerry and Mike to sign something for my siblings. I also have to deliver a letter from Children's Hospital to them.

- On Sunday, I'll definitely be back in the tabletop game area.

Just to clarify - there is going to be an entire ANNEX dedicated to tabletop gaming this year. Since their expansion to 1200 sq ft was not enough for everybody. Mike said this year it's going to be redonkulously full, and since it's the fifth year anniversary, there's going to be all sorts of crazy shit going down everywhere. So keep your eyes peeled and you might score some great swag.

Oh, I believe on Saturday night, there's a bar crawl to hit every bar within walking distance of the Convention Center, a Dick's burger meet-up, a pre-PAX dining experience (if you get there on Thursday). If you don't get into the concert, we're not going to stay there all night, either. So I'll find a bar for sure that we'll hit on Saturday and tell you where it is (if you can get into bars, that is).

I did not pre-order my pass so I have a long wait in line before me. I don't have a clear plan, but will go with the flow and see what happens. I usually end up hanging out in the expo hall a lot at these conventions. My current plan, is as follows:

Friday - Take a halfday from work, spending most of the afternoon in the queue for a 3 day pass, and if I get in before 6pm, poking around the expo hall. At 7pm, it's off to the Turbine party at Gameworks. I would love to see Freezepop, but I won't be able to make that

Saturday - I'll probably be wearing my Judge Dredd t-shirt. No doubt I'll be the only one doing so, so say hi if you see me. Back to the expo hall for most of the day, but popping along to "Bethesda Presents: Fallout 3".

Sunday - Bunch of presentations today, with the expo hall a backup. "Bioware Presents: Dragon Age" and "Maxis Presents: SPORE" are both high on my list.

Arabin

The wife and I are going to plan out what panels to go to this weekend. Most of the same ones as Arabin, for sure. Freezepop is on the schedule, but we shall see if we make it this year. Got so caught up with other stuff last year, we missed it. Did get to see that Final Fantasy 7 movie with a crowd of fans so that was fun. Spent most of the time last year in the expo hall. SO many games to try and we still managed to play mostly tabletop games all con! Lots of video game demos, but at a con like this, I somehow prefered the tabletop ones.
