OK, so gearing up to play some DnD Minis, I went ahead and built some sample pieces from CaveWorks to see which style he would prefer. Since I already have the pics, I figured I would share with y'all:
Not sure if we want to go with the chunky walls or the floating walls yet, but I sent these pics to him to show the differences.

The floating walls look much more organic and they take up a smaller footprint. If you have a good way to anchor them (tacks penetrating the tabs and into foamcore base) then their the way to go IMHO.
