There seemed to be quite a few people doing Hinterlands at the moment, I thought it would be interesting to have an ongoing, neverending, "Post What You're Working On" thread. I'll start.

Hinterlands -- building enough stuff for the outdoor encounters in Keep on the Shadowfell. I'm kind of fried on foilage atm.

Sacrificial Portal - Don't know what I'm doing with it yet, I just thought it looked cool and was a fast win

Pubs & Inns -- Building out the tavern from Winterhaven in KOTS. I'm loving all the various crates and barrels and so forth, really makes for some nice rooms.

I'm also building out all the rooms in the KOTS proper. This is making me a little insane, because I'd already made battlemats for the whole thing ()

I'm building hinterland trees, lots and lots of trees. Or rather lots and lots a parts for a few of the complex trees.
And making a fall tree kitbash.
Getting the half dozen kitbashes I made for winterhaven ready for submission.
A dozen or so gothic columns.
All of Platform Command.
The props for Cathedrae Requiem.
And I really do need to build some of the red sector mechs I already printed.

So I am of course reading a book.


Thats a fantastic link though. I may toss together a few rooms from it with what I have on hand.

I am working on Hinterlands for D&D Minis right now, as well as expansion pieces for my Star Wars Minis terrain, and still working on the Desert Island board for HeroClix.

I did do one of the rooms from shadowfell keep. It was more a test of the photo tent I made. It worked well enough that I think I'll buy actual cloth for the backdrop. Still its not bad for something I made with maybe $5 worth of parts.

I know the walls don't look right. But thats because they where printed on ecomony rather than normal print. Actually I printed most of my stuff that way. It just doesn't look good for the C&K walls. All the crates and barrels and the ragged beds are economy prints too. I've started printing normally with my current stuff, now that I get cheap ink online.

I really think that C&K is a great set for this kind of build. But there really needs to be a good way to keep the walls in place on the floor. I just won't use the pins suggested in the instructions. I may add a base to the bottom of the walls. Or maybe I'll build some weighted props to brace the wall. The columns from the watchtower base maybe.

Im close to finish my inn (90%)...I want finish my Gothic Realm too and start with some hinterland model.

I printed off a stack of his ships and have been working on them.

I had gotten it back in 2005 and hehehehe, kind of forrogten about it, I was working on a bunch of things this weekend so i printed it as well.... just to try it out and uhm WOW is it wonky...
