I was thinking about foamcore as well for my towers, and then though about the practicalities of hexagonal foamcore, and decided maybe not

if you leave one side of the foamcore paper backing intact and very gingerly cut out triangles it can be pretty forgiving. Then once it's in the general right shape you can backfill the triangle cuts with glue if you accidentally cut out too much. Be sure to use a glue that's safe for the foam. This gave me so rock solid 6 and 8 sided buildings.

That sounds like a good idea. Did you cut out the triangles from the exterior face of the tower, kind of like regular scoring cardstock, ordid you make the cuts on the interior surface so the ange would be more foamcore to foamcore? And thanks for the advice, I appreciate it. My CWU build got bumped a bit back while I'm building my dungeon, but I definitely want to try this.

Thanks, LD. I have looked at the Foamwerks tools and they seem pretty cool. I bought some of the L and T clips and they are great. However, I don't want to spend that much for one of those V-groove cutters. I've priced them from 22-40 dollars before shipping. I'd rather buy more WWG sets and try to make grooves by hand.
