I'm more excited about Himmelveil but Urban Mayhem looks interesting enough that I'm looking forward to it.
I have a run in the Renraku Arcology that I'm itching to build.

Heh, vaguely people shaped red blotches printed on trasparency stock for victims of 'deacceleration trauma'.
Manhole covers.
Sewers (of course).
Elevated railway/monorail and station
Interchangeable shop windows of various types - books, sandwhich shop, drugstore, barbershop (with pole), pub. Allowing buildings to be used multiple ways. Make however many building types you feel like, as long as they have the same sized windows you can make them what you need.
Transparency used to create telephone booths...
Sleezy 'club'
Jetport. (Be a pain to do a full airplane though, maybe just the inside of one?)

If you are including the mall, then remember that eateries that operate within the designated square downstairs qualify as food court, anything operating outside the said designated square is considered an autonomous unit for mid-mall snacking.

I want to see many signs. Blade Runner-like, Shadowrun-like, pseudo-Kanji signs.
And huge plasma displays with commercials (WWG commercials), off-world colony commercials, cybernetics commercials, etc.
Scaffolding, trash dumpsters.
Coffin hotels.
A pure Gibson (Neuromancer) experience.

Absolutely! Maybe we can talk Denny into making this the sample/teaser, or part of a freebie add-on that we can also use as handout promotional materials.

On the other hand I have also seen a game of Mutants and Masterminds being played with repainted HeroClix, so for modern I would say that 1.5 is a good choice, though I will hope for a 1" alternate I won't try to insist on it, some of those 1.5 Hero Clix players know where I live! (And I think that attracting them is a good for a new WW market.)

This would be our group. We have been playing a Silver age Sentinels game (soon to be switching to M&M) for well over a year now and have been having a great time with it. We use Heroclix figures that we kit-bash and repaint to represent our heroes and villains. So far I've made do with Microtactix' Cityscapes etc. line. I'd always been hoping this place would venture into the modern market because the quality is always a little better here.

Microtactics makes a decent city product, I just don't like the street layout. thier urban set is much better. I am hoping that WW will again take this to the next level!

You know the worst thing about having both Urban Mayhem and Himmelveil on the Readyometer? I keep rooting for Himmelveil to pull ahead like it was a race...
I like the idea of UM, but Himmelveil is likely to have steam!
The Auld Grump, and I still play Mordheim into the bargain. Now if I were playing Necromunda...
*EDIT* Himmelveil is losing the race? Noooo!

It would be nice to have a 'foldable' sky scrapper. Not so much that it folds up as it comes in blocks, say every four stories is a detachable box, easier to store that's for sure. As it stands I currently have three Madens, two different First lights, and a but load of warhammer style scenery. Storage is an issue, though I found that blue target storage bins work great for the microtix urban buildings. Though their skyscrappers take up a bit of room.
As a another aside, subway trains and stations, which could be switched to monorails would be cool. scaled vehicles, both modern and slightly advanced. Police cars, fire trucks and ambulences. Hospitals...my players in the DC heroes game end up there a lot.
I have kit bashed thefirst light to make a more advanced subway (cockpit, hallway with added doors, another hall way etc, end with another cockpit)
Parks
Apartments
Banks
MANSION!!!
Museum
Art Gallery.
Mmm.thinking thinking.

Oh...for the love of mike...civillians!! LOTS AND LOTS OF CIVILLIANS!!
I hate using 'extra' minis to fill the role of civillians.
Say four pages, you could make them black and white, so we could color them differently so they can be recycled.

Yeah i have seen that game my only question is, would the scale be right? i can't remember how much the people interact with the Monsters, and the city may be too Big if you just use 3.75-6 inch action figures. (Star Wars, GI Joe to Marvel, DC, Wrestling Figures and thier Assorted critters) You would need a REALLY big Moster for a
"He's Mean,
He's Green,
He's 30 Stories High
Godzillla!!!"
Okay even that Stupid cartoon Aside (which is wrong he's not over 400 ft, more around 165-180, occasionaly mutatiing up to 260 and he reached his peak at 325), if we go with the Classic size he is 33 inchs tall!, or 2.75 Feet, That would be a BIG Toy... for a Set this size... even going with gaming terrain conventions of having the buildings smaller than they are, you would need a HUGE figures to rampage through your town... and wouldn't he end up crushing some anyway... I mean we could pit him against Mel's QA-Cat, but Not everyone has access to a Cat to fight against, and i don't really see one sticking around to fight Godzilla with anyway...
Godzilla FAQ
Oh and er... you do know there is a URL tag in the upper left that could have showed you the same thing... Not to disrespect the Grump, but i guess having done a few silly Webpages over the years it is second nature to do that.

But it was Grump that shone the light - I worked out what that tag meant after the fact.
I was thenking scale in such a game would be almost a secondary to the game itself - I mean they sell it saying you can use toys from a toy store - now there is no real scale to kids toys so the scale gets thrown out the window.
I just thought it was a fun idea, but I think that the Savage boyz here could work a Savage Tale that would do the same.
I have every intention to run "Zombies" off the tileset and on the Masterboard!!
BTW Denny will you be doing Linx with this system?

Assuming there will be a Masterboard, thats a cool idea!
I'm guessing there WILL be, with streets and sidewalks and such. I plan on using Urban Mayhem and Rezolution for Gangs of Mega-City One, personally.

Heh, what do you know? I never even noticed the URL tag button, just doin' what I have done since I found out that the command existed, I'll have to try it next time I have a link to post. Think, think, think... Aha!
The six foot tall inflatable Godzilla would be about the right size for the largest Godzilla to appear in the movies for use with World Works. So you too can Crush, Crumble, & Chomp your favorite Japanese city.
Hmmm, slightly easier, but I think I prefer doing it by hand rather than going back and correcting.

Tis soooo much easier to do it by hand er, typing as you go, but it lets you learn how to do the format st least...

The trick is to print the city smaller! I do convention games with 1:300 scale buildings and plastic models of Godzilla and Mechagodzilla, just printing the models smaller. I also printed some half that big for use with the 3 to 4 inch vinyl monsters.
You can't do every building in the city in this scale (small ones get too fiddly) but you can do a lot of simple ones and get a good city feel.
