I think "Sportworks" was discussed years ago, with different stadia.

Finally got an album started and posted 2 pics from the game here that show the trenches in action. You can see why I need the gun pits from the cheap plastic sandbags I used in a pinch.

That's interesting, but I was thinking of the 90 degree junctions - some way of making them 45 degree instead. Maybe both would be good.

Those are 1" squares. You can see how the center square will be imperfect for either grid. But I think it could work.

Yes, that's perfect. I dont use the grid myself, and hadnt even thought of how that might be impacted. But otherwise, perfect. Excellent. We shall sing your praises as we march down the trenches.

Well, I've done a test build, and it fit well. Now I've just got to do the grid versions.

The center clix version might not be exactly 1.5", but I think it'll be ok.

Thanks for all your efforts. Now if they can just get the backlog taken care of so we can get these moving. Thankfully, they dont take that long to build a nice bunch. I am looking at using them for a trench system on Utah Beach for a game in September. Now if we just had Bunkerworks! I have need of 5 concrete bunkers, but I know of a source for them in paper or resin. The resin are way out of my price range. One way or the other, these trenches are going to help fill a lot of gaps in my gaming, since I started doing more WW1 skirmish gaming and using the Skirmish Campaign modules for WW2. Heck, the depth of the trench is just about perfect for 15mm Minifigs I use in larger level gaming so I can bring them in as part of the defenses at Beersheba or Galipoli. In Piquet Point of Attack: Barrage, each base of 3 figures equals a company, so it is easy to use a bunch of these trenches as a large trench system.

Well I've finished doing the grids. I'm going to do a quick print test. Then I'll update the instructions and submit the redone kitbash.

For bunkers try Mel Ebbles's stuff. Firebase Maginot should be useful for a bunker.

They did seem to get pushed back a fair bit. First with the delay when Aubrey left. And once Bob took over, they got jumped by the seasonal kitbashes I submitted.

LD2062’s Trench Expansion for SiegeWorks is now available. Ever wanted more options for a trench layout? This kitbash includes a piece to close off the openings in the trenches, a large open pit, and a 45 degree bend.

And the price is certainly right. The wife and I are going to get the Thoumonts set shortly, so looks like a good time to pick this up and finish that entrenching I'd been working on for some of my games. These trenches are just about perfect height for 15mm WW1, and work very well to demonstrate even WW2 entrenchements.
