I'm trying to put together my first model. I see dotted lines. What does that mean? Forgive my ignorance.

I will bet that they are where you should fold the model...but if you're a bit more specific about the set we can try to find it and confirm it (but usually dotted lines are a folding point)

Ah...I can see how that part would be a bit confusing.

It's not tremendously useful on its own, and is provided more as an example of texturing and technique than a standalone model. It makes even less sense if you're not familiar with the term.

A hoarding is a wooden platform, wall, and roof that can be attached to a castle wall to provide even more cover from attackers' arrows.

Because the hoarding takes up so much of the physical page, the normal "legend" bit that appears on each page is missing.

Here is a picture of the Hoarding in its proper place atop a Castleworks Ultimate wall, and a copy of the legend bar that appears on *almost* all of the model pages in our CastleWorks Ultimate set (except, apparently, the hoarding).


I've also let the owner know about this.


Oddly enough, every other free sample we offer (so far as I am aware) also has the legend on it...this is just an incredibly unusual exception. Drop in and visit this page:
