I bought Streets of Mayhem and Bits of Mayhem early last year, but never got around to using either kit until late last year.

This year, I've started a couple of things... and it's been wickedly fun.

A couple weeks ago, a friend and I were planning on getting together to play HeroClix and I decided to break out a little bit of Urban Mayhem on him. This was the result:








I didn't mount it on foamcore, but it worked just fine... after I taped the tiles together. I stopped at a local hobby shop to pick up some HO-scale trees, to enhance the 3D effect. And, the overall "map" was a big hit.

When I told players at a 'Clix tourney the following weekend, they asked to see pictures of it. I did. Many of them said that they'd heard of using 3D terrain, but had never really considered it before. But, they were open to trying it out.

Since then, I've been slowly building a modular system based on the thread, by Andorax. And, once again, it's been a lot of fun.

Very Nice. I like your layout. Nice and open but still with plenty of cover. The trees are a nice touch. I also like to blend in model railroad scenery for a little extra 3d texture. I'm a big fan of the City Planning thread, too.

With a little help from Woodland Scenics' rock molds and other terrain products for rough terrain in the park and such, you will have an outstanding game table sir.
