I am a newb at this kind of gaming and building. I have had good luck in building and gluing my models. Thanks to all of you that have posted on the gluing thread. I have learned a lot!
BUT!!!
4 days of searching and reading for many hours each day. I can not find any decent instructions or direction on making a masterboard from scratch. The user pictures are fantastic! How did you make those boards???!! Each of my attempts either come detached after a few days, warp, get brittle, or have some drastic color bleed.
I have used card stock (80 lb & 110 lb), plain paper, and photo paper. With each of these I have used elmers glue (wood glue and normal school glue), UHU glue, and a Scotch Quick-Dry adhesive (that dried way to fast). A spray adhesive I used ate the foam board and bled all the color from my paper.
I am ripping my hair out here guys!!! How about a tutorial on adhering large pieces to cardboard, foamboard, and such??? My glue dries out by the time I am about to put the pieces together.
