To those that have already provided help & advise thank you. I have only done 3 different buildings so far & I am fairly happy with how they turned out (they are buildings so not hard ). After I completed my first building (stucco - sorry couldn't work out how to post pictures - maybe another time) my boy started playing with his cars with it, then, he got Heroscape Spiderman out & started to play with it. Now I bought HS a couple of years ago to play it with him but he was way too young & occasionally we give it a try again. So I had a serious look at the building & spiderman & thought it definitely could be made to compliment the HS Marvel set but the current scale looked way off. So to rescaling...

So my logic:
Heroscape scale: 32mm
Average human height: 1760-1780mm :1800 (rounded up for ease)
Average height per storey: 2500mm
= Average height per scaled storey: 44mm
Smallest storey height of "Stucco": 66mm
= Scale required: 66%

So I built Hollywood flat using a 66% scale with a hex-grid on the roof & whilst building it I was thinking yeah this is it. After I finished I was pretty happy until I asked my wife which scaled building was a better fit - she said the stucco & ..."Where's the doors?" Doh! <smacks head>

So I put the doors on & yep, the Hollywood was too small, but the Stucco was still too big.

New logic:
Heroscape scale: 32mm
Average human height: 1760-1780mm :1800 (rounded up for ease)
Average door height: 2100mm
= Average height scaled door: 37mm
Door height from the Doors.pdf: 44mm
= Scale required: 84%

So now I built the Skyscraper (only 2 pages height - this was a little more tricky to build, anybody have instructions on the best method of doing this building I would appreciate it for the next time) again with a hex grid on the roof. I also "bashed" the rear ground level tile so there were windows in the middle as well - I like the bashing part as long as I can cut & past, I would never have the skills to draw something on. Now with the skyscraper built & spiderman sitting next to it I am so much happier. The scale looks right.

Are there any other modellers building for HS? And if so is this about the scale you use?

I was going to round the scale to 85% to make it neat, would this be a bad idea?

Some things I discovered whilst building these models:
* Edging is harder then it sounds - Or I just SUCK really badly at it.
* It is definitely easier to edge before glueing - But I still SUCK really badly at it.
* Scoring is an art that I thought I had mastered until I folded the flats sides back onto themselves - Doh!
* Non-wrinkle only applies if you use the glue sparingly.
* There is a fine line between having enough glue to meet the edge & too much glue it's just bled out & discoloured the print - Damn!

Appart from this learning curve it was a ton of fun so I will probably do another Stucco flat at 85% scale & see how it looks with spidey & the skyscraper.
