WARNING, GIANT MECHANIZED ROBOTS AHEAD! And terrain...and props...and standees...oh and a full game too!
The scent of rusted metallic dust fills your lungs as you enter the hanger. Your fists clench in anticipation as you approach your second skin, your lifeline, your killing machine, your Mech. Your bot-tech loads you up heavy from the gantry with a rack of high yield overkill. This is your moment to inflict some serious crushed metal. This is Red Sector!
WWG's next massive installment of the Platform Command series plunges you into an incredibly fun hybrid of modelset meets mini-game! This set delivers all-new terrain and props, blends it with custom Mecha building and then adds a complete mini-game 'Crushed Metal' into the mix! It's a natural fit! We give you all the components you need to build almost any kind of walking, rolling, crushing combat-ready robot you can think of and then hit you in the face with the ultimate robot killing arena to duke it out in!
What are you waiting for??? March that Mech into battle and crush some metal!

I admit I haven't built more than a little of the Red Sector terrain. I like it, but it's not what drew me. Packed full of giant robots, Red Sector was a gimme for me. The WWG team included enough parts and variants in the set that you can build pretty much any type of war machine you like - anything from a flare shouldered anime robosuit to BT-style mechs to tracked mechs to tanks to... you get the idea. It's a great set for modelers like me.

Giant robots, what else do you need? But this cool set also includes standees and a game! In addition to the normal walls, floors, a number of cool props.
It should be noted that this is made to go with platform command. And some platform command pieces are needed to complete the things in the promo picture, like the command tower.
As you can see in the pictures the included mech parts allow for a real variety of vehicles.
The real drawback to the set is time. The mechs can be incredibly time consuming to build. And aside from sample pictures there is not a lot of information on designing the mechs. I'd have loved to have 6 or 8 mech variations with written instructions.
